New mini tutorial: manually managing sprite graphics frames

The latest addition to the rB+ site is a mini tutorial showing how to manually manipulate sprite graphics based on in-game conditions. There are two instances - one of a player sprite that alters depending on joypad input, the other is a backdrop that displays differently depending on the position of the player sprite on screen.

Finally got around to downloading and having a play.

 

This is fantastic stuff and more people need to be trying this.

 

Like the tutorial site - good information well delivered with just the 'not to technical to bury you' bull**t to encourage people.

 

I take my balaclava off to you guys on this supreme acheivement.
