Torr
I know that the US got a trimmed down version but, aside from playing them to see the changes, is there any other way to know which version you have? Difference in the carts themselves or title screen or anything? I'm curious because I was thinking, when buying online or at a flea market or whatever, how can you know which version your getting? I know the box art will have multilingual packaging if it's not the US version but, especially from people who have large stocks of games, a US cart could be in a Euro package and vice versa. Hakogame 箱亀
The US & Euro versions have different box art. See here for a full comparison between the differences between the 2 games: http://www.digitpress.com/reviews/captainsilver.htm

The US & Euro versions have different box art. So the box art IS the only way to know without actually playing the game? I guess I'll be staying away from eBay or anyone who's unsure what they have... I want a copy for my collection and until I become a specific collector of variants, I'd rather have the 'complete' version of the game.
