OK I'm moving the TI MESS emulation discussion here so as not to continue corrupting the Pascal thread. First off I need to state that Michael has clearly done an enormous amount of work on this, so thank you.

 

Some current issues:

 

1- Zip cartridge images are not recognized by MESS under QMC2

2- The Extended Basic 2.5 rpk file is bad

3- CC40 carts not recognized

Maybe we should think about a sub-forum for emulation topics only, dealing with js99, Classic99, MESS, PC99, v9t9... With special sticky topics for First steps etc.

2. Seems so ... the zip version is working. Weird.

3. I don't have any knowledge about the CC40 emulation.

 

 

Edit: 2: Not weird, the cartridge does not use real Groms. You can fix it by unzipping the RPK, edit layout.xml, replace "paged" by "gromemu", and re-pack the RPK with zip.

Ah yes, the zip file did work that way. The problem is there is no way to save that configuration in QMC2, and it's kind of a pain to have to search for the file every time... I'll stick with the rpk format for now unless it becomes deprecated.

Also fixed the XB2.5 rpk as you instructed. Thanks.
