atrax27407 #1 Posted March 19, 2015 Does anyone have a copy of BOOT/BOOU that is clock aware (i.e., that will read a TripleTech, BWG or similar clock) and will display the time and date on the screen? I have a copy of MENU that will do that but I also need a copy of BOOT/BOOU.

atrax27407 #8 Posted March 20, 2015 Thanks. But not exactly what I am lookming for. The version of MENU that I use displays the running time from my BWG clock in the upper right of the screen. I am looking for the version of BOOT/BOOU that does the same. Most of the ones that I have seen are the 10/16/1989 versions that simply toggle between 40 anf 80-column mode. In 80-column mode, they just use a smaller character setin a single column menu. I'll have to keep looking for the version that I need. I have seen the file description of the clock aware version in a library index at some time.
Gazoo #9 Posted March 20, 2015 boot.dsk Here's the one I use. I copied it from my hard drive, so you'll need to reconfigure it with your menu info. I've never seen a version that doesn't display the clock, can you post it here? Gazoo
atrax27407 #10 Posted March 20, 2015 Hmm! Interesting! That last one doesn't display the time either. It could be that BOOT/BOOU doesn't read the BWG clock but is programmed to look for the HFDC clock. If it can read the CorComp clock, it should be able to read the BWG clock. Oh well, it is not significant enough to cause any great angst.
