Rhomaios
Does anyone know if the old Mac game Spin Doctor was ever ported anywhere else besides Apple OS's? Flash or otherwise? Also, this game shouldn't be too advanced for 8bit systems, right? http://www.myabandonware.com/game/ultimate-spin-doctor-3zp
Opry99er
Excellent little game there... I played the HELL out of it on my Performa back in the mid-late 90s. As far as I know, it was proprietary to the OS. Edited April 1, 2015 by Opry99er
Rhomaios
Looks like it. Also looks like we're the only ones who played it!
Emehr
I think this game came with the Performa I bought in '96. I played it once but just couldn't get into it. Maybe I should give it another shot. I spent more time with the two other games that came with my Mac: Eric's Solitaire Sampler and Spectre. Good times.
Opry99er
Spectre... wow, I had almost forgotten. My favorite was "The 7th Guest" EPIC game... but did not come with the OS, obviously.

That game was so good. Not sure how it holds up today, though. I bought it but haven't got around to installing it yet.
Opry99er
It was the best computer game I had played at the time, and (other than Elder Scrolls Morrowind) remains my favorite PC game I've ever played... But, as you mentioned, don't know about nowadays... I havent played it in over 12 years.

If you liked it in the early 2000s, unless you're pretty young, that's a good indication it probably holds up decent enough.
Opry99er
I played it in the 90s as well. In 2003 or so, I set my old Performa back up and played it again.
omegadot
I wow, I loved this game on my Performa. I have nothing to contribute beyond that.
jmetal88
Check out ClockWerx (I used to have it for Windows): http://www.mobygames.com/game/clockwerx EDIT: I'm seeing a release year of 1996 for Ultimate Spin Doctor and a release year of 1995 for Clockwerx, so Ultimate Spin Doctor could probably be considered a Clockwerx clone. EDIT 2: Looks like Ultimate Spin Doctor was also released for Windows: http://www.old-games.com/download/3838/ultimate-spin-doctor-for-windows Edited June 6, 2015 by jmetal88
