shazzner Posted April 4, 2015 Share Posted April 4, 2015 I recently acquired an 800XL and it seems to be working well. I'm able to play all my 400/800 cartridges without a hitch. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the two XE cartridges I own. I've got Star Raiders II & Ace of Aces, neither of which will load. It seems to hang for a second then dump me into the test screen. I tried holding down Option to disable Basic, but same results for both. I did a ram test that came back ok, the machine is almost brand new too. Am I just having bad luck with these cartridges or is there some incompatibility problem I'm unaware of?
