Marc Oberhäuser
Hi everyone, ***Update 4*** Just a short head-up: The Sears Checkers card (#35) has the info for Sears Boxing (#34). Sorry for that. Set #4 will have a replacement card add-on so that issue will be fixed. ***Update 3*** The cards are on the way to you! ***Update 2*** The cards are in production, everything is on track ***Update 1*** Today I've received the test print and only had a few bugs to fix, so the production dates are looking fine. Added a few shots of the cards down below. The third series test print went just out to the printer and is ready for preorder. This time the 50 cards feature Imagic, Dextell and Mattel 1983. The pre-order price per set is EURO 37.50 including shipping airmail letter (robust box/uninsured/no tracking/shipping time 5 to 10 days). For shipping as regular airmail parcel (robust box/insurance/tracking/shipping time 14 to 28 days, up to 5kg) you will have to add another EURO 35 (yep, shipping a parcel to North America is that expensive). Since I have to pay the printer in advance I have to charge the amount up-front, so if you are interested in the preorder discount just drop me a PM with your Paypal address and I’ll send you a Paypal invoice. Some additional information: · The remaining Sears titles will be featured in series four. · Limited run: It's not a limited run, but after the first run the price will be EURO 45.00 · Like for the first series the new series will feature the same box type (slip lid, 13cm x 10cm x 2cm). I might do a box in regular game box size at a later point · Combined shipping letter airmail: It's possible for up to 3 sets, the first set costs EURO 37.50, the other two costs EURO 35 each, the additional shipping costs are EURO 4.00 (3 sets are too heavy for the cheapest shipping solution) · Combined shipping airmail parcel: It's possible for up to 15 sets, the first set costs EURO 37.50, the additional copies cost EURO 35 each · Shipping date: Production takes about 1 week, the shipping will be April 17th. · Enclosed some low-res jpeg pictures of sample cards (more pictures will come as soon as I’ve received the test print · Series 1 and 2 are still available for EURO 45.00 (or EURO 40 if ordered combined with the purchase of Series 2) Marc. Marc Oberhäuser
which Demon Attack box are you doing, the silver spray painted dinosaur toys or the brown pterodactyls ? or both ? Both, the same way as the blue/red variations of Space Battle
+Steve Jones
what else are you planning for series 4? there's only 5 more sears titles homebrews? how about digiplay? some of those are a lot different from original releases. or bilingual releases? the intellivoice ones are pretty cool. or the 4 european white box versions? or the cbs versions? this could go for a few more series with variations. just saying... Marc Oberhäuser
I want to add that this should be the 4th of 5 sets. The last set will be another major label variations (CBS, INTV Europe and alike) and the aftermarket releases. There might be another set with odd variations like Digiplay plus all the major hardware (systems, joysticks etc.) if there is enough interest in it but I am not sure about this. Don't want this to be a neverending story

+JasonlikesINTV
Personally, I'd love to see the inclusion of: The 4 white/cream coloured international gatefolds The 3 French Intellivoice gatefolds CBS/Coleco variations Definitely homebrews Definitely hardware. Digiplay would also be cool. Edited April 7, 2015 by JasonlikesINTV
+Lathe26
How far down the variant rabbit hole should we go? After all, the cards can't show the difference between the Mattel boxes printed in USA versus Hong Kong. :-P
+JasonlikesINTV
Yeah, I probably wouldn't recommend doing: French Canadian (except for Intellivoice) Mattel Italian, German, etc Intellivision Inc USA vs Hong Kong 3 line vs 4 line text on box fronts
+SoulBuster
I you go down the variant rabbit hole, try to keep all variants separate from regular releases. I will buy all the regular releases, but I do not want to buy variants. Do not force me to buy one that is half and half.
+Steve Jones
even with Digiplay most of them are very similar to the original Mattel versions, but there are a few that are completely different, Demon Attack, Atlantis, Bump'n'Jump just off the top of my head. Marc Oberhäuser
Minor variations like Mattel German box versions etc. will not be featured. Just the variations with major differences.
