When I'm playing CV Carts, there appear to be white blurs/smudges on black parts of the screen. However, when using Expansion Module 1 with 2600 Games, this doesn't happen. The Expansion Module #1 bypasses the ColecoVision's video chip to output to the TV, so it's not surprising that you're having no trouble with the module. This is indicative of some kind of problem with the ColecoVision's video chip, its associated RAM, or some other component of the RF output.
