Target price tags on some of the Alamogordo landfill games?

Does anyone have any idea why some of the Atari games from the Alamogordo landfill has Target price tags? I though that these games went from an Atari warehouse straight to the landfill. Thanks for any help,

Likely store return because they were overstocked and couldn't sell it and sent it back for credit or refund.

Guess Target didn't have TJ Maxx and Ross to dump their unsold stock at back then.

If Target was going to dump today, they are more likely to get tax writeoff and send unsold stock to Goodwill. Too bad we won't get to see shitload of MISB games to rival O'Shea.
