wyerd
When running BOOT, pressing the space bar gives 9 more user def options, but if I select one of these which I've just added, it doesn't load and displays the first menu screen. Omega-TI
Did you notice there are TWO entries for each selection? The first, which allows lower case characters is for the name/description, the one below it is for the program to run, for example: DSK1.FILENAME
wyerd
Yes. I entered the description on the first line followed by DSK1.FILENAME on the next.
Omega-TI
If you have BOOT loaded into the 15K portion of the XB2.7s cartridge any changes you make will be saved to disk ONLY, you'll need to turn off the TI and press enter again to load the changes into the XB2.7s cartridge. wyerd
That's what I did. Can you get options on the 2nd screen to work?
Omega-TI
I'm not having any problems, I have two things on the second page at the moment for testing on a 'special disk' that I'm making. Both programs load up and work fine. Maybe you have a corrupted copy? I'd try download it again. You can get a fresh new copy by clicking << HERE >>. It's worth a try. Good Luck! P.S. The only time I've never had a program NOT load and return to the main screen was when a program was missing or the file name or path was entered wrong. Sorry, I'm fresh out of ideas.
wyerd
Looks like the BOOT file was corrupted somehow. Created a fresh one and it's now working. Thanks for your help and insight!

Omega-TI
'special disk' ?!?! Programs that you can't talk about! You have all the fun!!! There will only be one program missing, but my plan is to eventually upload the image to the .hfe thread in a few weeks when I get it 'just so'.
