omegadot #77 Posted May 9, 2015 Woohoo! The somehow managed to recover everything that was taken. Lucky break! Looks like they'll be in lockdown for awhile. My whole point of this is we all need to do whatever it takes to protect our collection. I'm gonna be moving soon anyway. Tired of drug dealing going on down the street and speeding vehicles. I have a child that cant even play outside because of this. Should do a pictographic story of the recovery.
7800fan #78 Posted May 9, 2015 So how was it recovered? Did the idiot try to dump them at pawn shop? Or was it someone who was caught with different crime and just happened to have your stuff? Details please!

Video_Invader #82 Posted May 10, 2015 Missile Command huh? Ok, arcade:). A report was made about two guys breaking into a home across town. When they left, a neigbor followed them which led to another house which turned out to be theirs, lol. Police were called to the scene just as they were unloading their newly acquired cargo. Inside, they found flat screens, DVD, bluray, video games, jewelry, guns, just about anything you can imagine. They said they were going to eventually unload it all but just had not got around to it yet. Yeah, too busy going through other peoples houses at the time. mickcris #83 Posted May 11, 2015 you got lucky! hope the 1st thing you did was renew your insurance. Renters insurance saved me once when my apartment was burgled years ago. I was not lucky enough to get my stuff back. Renters insurance was basically free with my auto insurance so no reason not to have it. Homeowners insurance is a bit more costly though unfortunately. Video_Invader #84 Posted May 11, 2015 Yeah, I think after we move, I'm gonna get some kind of coverage just in case.
Keatah #85 Posted May 14, 2015 And here it is! In commemoration of getting all your gaming equipment returned safely! One Game of Missile Command Presented To: Video_Invader
Keatah #86 Posted May 14, 2015 You may download and print this out to hang in your gaming room. I included a frame at no cost. The cities for this particular game were:St. Alexandria, New Chicago, West Carolina, Chesapeake, Kaihalulu, and South Barrington. The defense outposts were:Nunki Station, Rasalhague Station, and Alhena Station.I played the arcade version through M.A.M.E. for several hours. And then the real arcade cabinet version later at 257. The real arcade game sometimes isn't as fun because you know you're limited by closing time. There are times I'll put electrical tape over the cities and missile bases to increase the difficulty. Or even over the top section of the monitor when I get really riled up. In order to present you your award in a timely fashion and with a respectable score I played your game in two sessions out of convenience and real life necessities - making use of the pause button once. Hope you don't mind. But rest assured, this is a game I can play non-stop and roll the counter easily.About the game:http://www.polygon.com/features/2013/8/15/4528228/missile-command-dave-theurerhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missile_Commandhttp://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=8715
