Then again, it's like everything else. If something becomes nicely affordable and prevalent, some middleman will step in and tack on added fees that provide nebulous or no benefits. People need to start speaking with their wallet.

They are calling it the "Netflix tax" but it really should be called the "Foxtel tax". Foxtel have wanted to do anything stop people moving from overpriced cable TV to cheap streaming services and they have influenced the introduction of this tax.

This is pretty dang shitty.
I've got a friend who lives down there, so I've heard many times about how he's spending quite a bit more on basically... anything.
If the higher cost of the item doesn't get him, then the shipping cost does.
