bigfriendly #1 Posted May 8, 2015 Hey guys, I'm totally wet behind the ears when it comes to batari basic so I have a long road ahead of me to create my dream game. I'm committed to learning how to do this so I'm going to be racking up some post in the coming weeks. When trying to set up BB I get two errors but in spite of them the program opens. I took screen shots of them to make this easier. I clicked on the highlighted application above to get started. Got this box shown above Placed the destination info into this form above. Honestly, I hope I did it correctly I'm not a Windows expert. Got the error that you see above. Also got this error above Now in spite of these errors the program opened and looked like it was ready to work with. But I'm new so what the heck do I know. Just want to make sure that I'm getting off on the right foot when it comes to BB. Thanks to everybody involved for what has already been an enormous amount of work on this project. +Random Terrain #2 Posted May 8, 2015 Did you click on the browse icons and select the paths that way or did you paste in the info? It's better to browse, so you won't screw up anything by mistake.
bigfriendly #3 Posted May 8, 2015 Thanks for your response RT. Went back and located the file paths without cutting and pasting and got only the script error with the yellow exclamation point. If I select yes or no to the error the box closes and I get this. S I clicked both the warnings and errors tabs above and nothing showed up. I'm running Windows 7 on mt laptop. Maybe I need to install a different or newer version of the application? I'm sure the download was tied to your blog page. Hope I can get this resolved as I want to dive into this and start learning. This is something I should have started on years ago. Thanks again:)

bigfriendly #5 Posted May 8, 2015 Yes, had located these through another thread that I found on AA. LOTS of info! Have to be careful and not get overloaded. This is just going to take some time for me to learn since I'm totally wet behind the ears. Thanks again:)
