luckybuck #27 Posted June 11, 2015 That is difficult Thom, all my 4 cassette recorders don't work. The 'rubbers' get lost over the time. They must be replaced. Sorry, but I can't help for the moment in that case.
16kRAM #28 Posted July 11, 2016 Any update on trying it on real hardware? -Thom Hi Thom, I demonstrated the Atari Educational System at a Retro Computer meetup this weekend. While preparing, I came across this thread and wasn't sure if you ever received confirmation that eduencode output works on real hardware. So I created an audio recording of your Strongbad Email proof-of-concept and ran it on real hardware. Here's a video. - Michael S. 3

16kRAM #30 Posted July 11, 2016 Wow, thank you so much for doing this! -Thom No problem. Thanks for the archival work. People at the meetup were floored that something like this existed in the early home computer days. And the Strongbad Email was a hit.
Fres #31 Posted August 17, 2019 That's so cool! Sorry for the necro post, but I've been playing around with tapes and tape archives lately and this came up in some of my searches.
