SHIPPING STARTS TOMORROW!

For everyone who has already paid I will start shipping orders tomorrow (12/7/16). It's going to take me a couple of days to get all the paid orders out, so don't fret if you don't get tracking info from me by end of day tomorrow.

And for everyone else, there are still 49 copies left if you want to buy one.

And in the future everything will be chrome.

So these will only gain popularity among future peoples.

I thought in the future everything was going to be made out of white plastic. Or was it bronze and steam engines?

All I know is that I still don't have a jetpack and my car still requires roads. (Hmmm, then there's the Internet, music streaming, and free all-you-can-eat porn. We didn't think of that. OK the future is not so bad.)

I received mine on Saturday as well! The overall packaging is excellent and I'm sorry I didn't have the funds to buy a second set so I could keep on sealed and use the other set!

I do have a question though in regards to the packaging design on the box?

I know you can't print white on the foil backing, so is the back side of the box on different card stock?

While we are at that, why not try just printing the Overlays 2.0 logo on the foil side in black? Again I'm not faulting the design in anyway, just more curious than anything.

The box is actually a two piece design. The front of the box (which is also the top, bottom and sides) is a Foil card stock. I had issues laser printing color directly on the foil card stock (it was odd that only black would work) so I had to add a clear layer that I could print on. The back of the box is inkjet photo card stock. Since it's a white based card stock, it was no problem having white on the back of the box. The other reason the back of the box is not foil, is because I had a failure rate printing on foil that I don't have printing on standard card stock. So, the back was made to reduce cost of production. Keep in mind that it took me a lot of time and energy to figure out how to make these in a way that I thought looked good. I actually had to print many of the parts of it twice.

I can honestly tell you I found at least 10 different ways not to make this set. :)

I actually test printed with a black logo. I didn't like it. It felt too much like the Imagic atari 2600 cart labels. Notice that Imagic used white titles with Intellivision and black titles with Atari. Since the closest I could get to "white" (which would be the way Imagic would have done it for intellivision) was to just let the foil show, I decided to go with that.
