Each ATR image contain several games and to find a game on SIO2SD you need to have the table of contents (GAMES.TXT or better GAMES_S.TXT) printed out. I tried to extract the XEX files with Total Commander and ATR plugin, but the files have short names: GACCRR.XEX for "The Great American Cross Country Road Race" That's why I wrote a small HomesoftExtractor tool: http://www.abbuc.de/phpBB3/download/file.php?id=2784 Manual: 1) Download the ZIP files (GAMES001.ZIP, GAMES002.ZIP, etc.) and extract them (to ATR files) 2) Download the GAMES.ZIP file and extract it (to GAMES.TXT file) 3) Copy the HomesoftExtractor.jar file to the folder with GAMES.TXT and ATR files 4) Double click on HomesoftExtractor.jar or start it from the command line: java -jar HomesoftExtractor.jar After some time you should get over 3500 XEX files with long names. You will get all the files with file names in Atari DOS format. Some of them are OK and you can manually rename them. Some require additional files in the (Atari) file system and will not work. There are games in collection that exist in two versions: 1) as a single xex file, but for 130XE only 2) as multiple files for 64kB machines So, if you have 128kB RAM, you may skip the versions for 64kB machines without having a big lost. And there are games like Koronis Rift or Gaunlet that exist only as disk images (as far as I know). Mr Robot Posted November 9, 2017 Share Posted November 9, 2017 Disk 427 Atari Blast ! (1MB RAM) requires a file on Disk 428, it isn't marked as not ok but the game doesn't run without it. jefffulton Posted November 10, 2017 Share Posted November 10, 2017 I was able to re-downloads the games.txt file and it fixed nearly all the problems. I have all of these files on both my Ultimate cart for the XEGS hooked up via HDMI to my 55" Ultra HD and on the SIO2SD hooked up to my 130XE in my office. I'm not sure posing the .zip file of all of them is "ok" with the rules here or with Homesoft (he does all the work of compiling the disks, etc). He updates files in earlier disks now and then, e.g. the last update was on Aug, 11 and was disk 180, even though the newest disk is 438. I couldn't find a changelog. You can get all the atr's one by one and all the xex's one by one; the fact there isn't a "Download All" link probably says a lot about how he feels about posting a link to the entire set in a single zip. I remove the crack texts/intros, fix some bugs, remove the packers, optimize the loading process and make them 'clean' as far as i can... Disks 001- 200 are nearly done... Good for those that use real Ataris with original OS and do not want to power-off and back on again a thirty to fourty years old computer whenever they want to load another program...
