Pixellated Ghost #1 Posted April 5, 2003 Given the fact that this game was supposedly never released on a cartridge, it makes me wonder where it came from... but I'd been looking for this game so I bought it. I got it and it works fine and looks normal. Here is a link to the auction which has pictures of it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...DME:B:EOAB:US:
sku_u #2 Posted April 5, 2003 I can confirm beyond a reasonable doubt that that is a legitimate repro cart
CPUWIZ #3 Posted April 5, 2003 I didn't think anyone would use the BIN.
Pixellated Ghost #4 Posted April 5, 2003 I didn't think anyone would use the BIN. I've had a binary of this one for quite some time (over a year at least) so apparently the rom image's been floating around the net for quite a while. I can confirm beyond a reasonable doubt that that is a legitimate repro cart I admit it does seem pretty "new." Wonder who made it? In any case I'd been hoping to find this on a cartridge since I first got the rom image of it so I'm happy I got it.

Albert #6 Posted April 5, 2003 Just a heads up that we will soon be selling repro carts of Cat Trax, Pleiades and Funky Fish, complete with original labels, manuals and boxes. Of these three UA Limited titles, only Cat Trax is floating around the net as it was found on a European multi-cart. You can get a preview of these games in our store, and specifically here is the Cat Trax page so you can take a look at the box: AtariAge Store: Cat Trax Everything is basically done, we're just tweaking the labels and manuals at this point. ..Al
CPUWIZ #7 Posted April 5, 2003 I will definately buy a boxed one of those but I still like my label better because that is how the game was originally released. Cat Trax
Albert #8 Posted April 5, 2003 I will definately buy a boxed one of those but I still like my label better because that is how the game was originally released. That's how it was originally released on the Arcadia, but there's no telling what they would have done on the 2600. Maybe they would have gone with that same style, maybe they would have come up with something new? We decided to just create entirely new designs, in a consistent style, with new artwork. I do agree that your label looks cool. ..Al
SS #9 Posted April 6, 2003 I’ve got to admit that I like CPUWIZ’s label better, too.
