RobertB #1 Posted May 19, 2015 On Saturday at the Nostalgic Computers exhibit at Maker Faire 2015 in San Mateo, California, I met CBM founder Jack Tramiel's son, Leonard Tramiel. We talked about Commodore, his father, the 25th Anniversary of the Commodore 64 which was held at the Computer History Museum, and the Commodore Vegas Expo. He checked the calendar on his cell phone. He had another event in Las Vegas (which I believe is The Amaz!ng Meeting 2015 -- https://www.amazingmeeting.com ) the same weekend as CommVEx, and he said that he could come to CommVEx!Though I don't have firm confirmation from Leonard, it is a strong possibility that he will be appearing.Wow! The stories he could tell us... He already told me a bit about his father at Maker Faire, information that I had not known. He said he was going to talk to Bil Herd also. Think of it... Bil Herd and Leonard Tramiel together! I guess I'll have to bring to CommVEx the brown C64 that Leonard's father autographed for me!Sincerely,Robert Bernardoorganizer - July 18-19 Commodore Vegas Expo v11 2015http://www.portcommodore.com/commvexCommVEx forum - http://www.commodore.ca/forum/viewforum.php?f=

First, it was CommVEx on the July 18-19 weekend with its videos, then the Amiga 30th in California on the July 25-26 weekend with its videos, then Los Angeles this weekend for another show (not related to computers), and then starting on this Wednesday another show in Las Vegas (unrelated to computers) which will go until Sunday. I am behind in my video-editing... and burning up all my energy, too!
