Ska_music_fan83 #1 Posted May 23, 2015 I came across the game "XIII" for Gamecube at the store the other day and decided to buy it since it was pretty cheap. I am really impressed at how good the game is. I haven't played any of the single player missions yet but I really like the multiplayer! In addition to the cel-shaded graphics, which are pretty neat, I also like how the bots tend to coordinate and try to attack together in team deathmatch. It definitely adds more of a challenge. I know that Timesplitters 2/Future Perfect are probably the best FPS for the Gamecube but I kind of like the slower nature of XIII. It's less frenetic and chaotic in multiplayer. So I just wanted to spread some love for this game in case someone was looking for another cool FPS to try. Anyone else who has also played this game, what are your thoughts on it? +wongojack #2 Posted May 23, 2015 Interesting. It is based on a very famous comic book that I first encountered when I lived in France. David Duchovny does the voice work for the main character in the game. I played the PS2 game and bought it years ago very cheap. I played only the first few single player missions and have never attempted the multiplayer because I just don't really enjoy multiplayer games - certainly not by myself anyway. The single player is ordinary to below average. I remember that some of the things they wanted you to do snipe? sneak? just kinda didn't work very smoothly. You'd have to really be a fan of the comic or really enjoy the (excellent) style in which the game is done to get through the entire single player campaign. Austin #4 Posted May 23, 2015 I tried to get into this game but nothing about it grabbed me. The graphic style is interesting, but that's the only lasting impression it left.
fdurso224 #5 Posted May 24, 2015 (edited) Hi guys, I have XIII for the PS2 and it was a fantastic title that I played multiple times. The graphics and story line was great. Love how Adam West was involved in the game as well. Anthony... Edited May 24, 2015 by fdurso224
