Mayhem #1 Posted May 23, 2015 My copy is still sealed... was there a manual in the box, or just a cartridge? I'm currently preparing a big list of 2600 stuff to sell, and making a list of games that come with manual and/or box... it'll be up for people to buy from in due time... +Marc Oberhäuser #2 Posted May 23, 2015 Yep, CIB. The cartridge has a good chance to fail.
CPUWIZ #3 Posted May 23, 2015 Yes, a lot of these are broken, because Sean decided to extract the SARA chips from the Dig Dug donors with a blow torch.
Mayhem #4 Posted May 24, 2015 Oh yeah, I'm aware of the potential failure rate, so I'm not going to be asking for the moon on a stick price wise for it heh. But as long as it is kept sealed, who cares?!
jan711 #5 Posted August 6, 2015 Does Elevator Action need a sara to run? Is there anywhere a list with the games who need Sara chip? I only knew this one, but there is no Elevator Action in Stargate / Defender II (8K) Crack'ed (16K) Crystal Castles (16K) Dark Chambers (16K) Desert Falcon (16K) Dig Dug (16K) Jr. Pac-Man (16K) KLAX (16K) Millipede (16K) Off The Wall (16K) Radar Lock (16K) Save Mary (16K) Secret Quest (16K) Shooting Arcade (16K) Sprint Master (16K) Super Football (16K) Fatal Run (32K) http://www.2600connection.com/articles/longevity/longevity.html
jan711 #7 Posted August 8, 2015 Great, the list is now updated. --->
Lynxpro #8 Posted August 10, 2015 Dumb question. Was this a homebrew or homebrew efforts to finish off an incomplete commercial proto? If so, was it meant to be an Atari Inc release? [due to the use of the Sara].
Mayhem #9 Posted August 10, 2015 I don't think the prototype was modified in any way...? It is how it was found, and released at CGE in 2001. Hence the need to cannibalise other Sara carts to get proper boards back then. It would have been released by Atari afaik.
