+OLD CS1 #1 Posted June 5, 2015 So I am pretty steamed about this. One of my clients is a local church. One of its members asked us if we would be interested in a server being retired at an office which cost "$15,000 originally." I mentioned we would take a look at it and determine if it is usable. Next thing I know, two tons of Mac server equipment is dropped off at the church without warning. 10 year old machines. One 1U dual-G5 server (the other is a dual 2.8GHz Xeon which is being parted out,) and two fiber channel RAID chassis with 500GB drives (one fully populated with 500GB drives, the other pretty much empty.) The storage boxes. I know some people here are into alternative platforms, so I thought I would see if anyone here has an interested in these. They are very heavy, so shipping would be a bee eye itch, unless someone is welcome to pick them up. If you are interested let me know, because next week they go to recycle. The G5 server is A1068 I think it is the 2.3GHz model, but I am not sure. Anyone??
Opry99er #2 Posted June 5, 2015 If I were close by, I would come pick it up. Good luck.
