simbalion
Here's a list of my current 8-bit collection, starting with the working units! One working 400. One working 800. One working 600xl. Just put together a working 800XL out of two junkers. One working 1200XL. And one working XEGS. Just enough 'safe' power supplys to go around for the XL's and the XEGS. Along with these, I have a couple 1050 disk drives, an 810 drive, and some other pieces parts floating around that I need to gather up again. I also have parts 400, another 800 that MIGHT move up to working status if I can get a keyboard, and another 1200XL that is in beautiful shape, but the keyboard currently does not work at all, not even the option buttons. Might have to try and take that keyboard apart like I did my first 1200XL and clean all the contacts. A very TEDIOUS process! Oh, I also have ingots... three or four so far.... Bleah...
+DrVenkman
Nice collection! Sounds a bit like mine. 2 working 400's (one upgraded to 48K by a previous owner) 2 working 800's (both 48K, one was originally a 16K machine and has a 3rd party 32K board in slot 2) 1 working 600XL and a second one that I've used as a chip donor for another machine 2 working 800XL's 2 working 1200XL's (one of them using donated POKEY, ANTIC and GTIA from the second 600XL) 1 (mostly) working 130XE with a balky keyboard 2 working 1050 drives and a third that needs a new 6532 chip (I think!) 3 non-working 410's and some random crap like an 820 printer, a 1025 printer and an ICD P:R: Connection. I haven't tested any of the printers but they're both badly yellowed and in need of Retr0brite.

Yjzep
I have a bunch of stuff. 1 400 1 800 1 really nice 600xl with an MPP Microram 64k pbi 2 800xls (one in box mint, one super video modded) 2 XEGS..one mid mod 1050, 810,410, 1020, 1030, 1027(doorstop..print head disintegrated surprise!) huge box of cleaned, fixed working controllers, light guns, trackballs, wicos, etc. bunch of disk games, some rareish 107 carts (not including 30 or so doubles and a few triples) I won an estate sale cheap with the 600xl, and some of those periphs. Most in boxes. They listed "various books", which was in fact a VERY nice score. Most every good book ever written about atari back then, programming books, and a stack of mint manuals, many for games not in that auction(some I needed!) Also, the very nice 810 was "Not working". No further explanation. Turned out to be just the pins on the garage door, the part was $5 from Best. I recently found a stack of Magic the Gathering cards in my safe from the 90s. I sold maybe 15 cards for 1200$, and turned some of that into atari stuff. One of my 800xls is my original, picked up used in maybe 86 or 87. I played that more than my NES. Also wrote a term paper on it in 1994 and printed it on my Okimate10, due to a fight with my dad and not wanting to spend time at the school computer lab. simbalion
A little update: I now have two working 1200XL computers! I was able to revive the keyboard on the second 1200XL successfully, although a few keys are still touchy. I just love the big beasts! RodLightning
1 400 with 48k upgrade 1 600XL with internal 64k upgrade (otherwise stock) 1 stock 800XL 1 800 with Incognito board 2 stock 1050 floppy drives 1 Percom Data DS/DD floppy drive Miscellaneous peripherals for data connections, P: R: Connector..SIO to PC usb etc.. Atari 825 & 1027 printers (no ink) Not enough modern 5vdc power supplies built or 9vac supplies at present to go around. Almost forgot, 1 working ingot (my original I never use anymore) and one fried ingot used as a door stop (thrift store). I cut off the DIN connector cable from the thrift store ingot and spliced it to a modern 5vdc supply for the XL machines. Not enough time and space at present to setup and play with all the hardware I also have a 1010 program recorder...not sure if the belt has died in storage. _The Doctor__
I wish you were here with an extra and we could have hunted em down... Law was useless, they were saying stupid things like homicides etc are a priority but grand larceny isn't etc.... I was like maybe the lack of action on these things lead to the homicides... the one 'detective' laughed out loud and said.. he makes a good point! In any event homicides are only a couple a year around here

Tillek
Well, if someone tries to rob me, I have a working AK-47 loaded up and ready to go! You might want to loan it to AtariGeezer......
Yjzep
It's funny, I am not worried about robbery/home invasion too much. I live in a semi-wealthy town, in a neighborhood dominated by two of the wealthiest families. They have their mini-mansions, and own at least 5 or 6 other homes each occupied by family members. Not that my home is trash, but it is the smallest on the street. I let my lawn go due to being busy and it looks so bad because the same landscapers whose only contract is this neighborhood do every other lawn weekly like clockwork. The only other home on my end of the street that is separately owned is owned by a late 20s couple with toys, toys, and more toys. Harley, quad, nice honda generator just sitting there, and a garage full of tools and toys that he leaves wide open constantly. It's almost like camoflauge. My couple thousand worth of Atari stuff in my basement isn't even worth half of that unsecured generator lol. Plus my street is sorta busy and my house is very close to the road..Too close. I think it's only 15 to 20 feet to the curb from the front door. Edited June 8, 2015 by Yjzep

GREAT theft deterrent!..Not to mention the huge logos and phone number kinda squash the incognito getaway.. Thought I had posted a list before but I cannot seem to find it. Maybe you, Atari Geezer, and myself should compare notes. We might have carts that each other is looking for. I was thinking that Atari Passion was slightly ahead of me. I believe he has Exidy's 8-bit demo cart and First Star astro chase cart I'm something like 383 unique carts (almost 3/4 CIB/NIB that were boxed, etc.), another 30-50 in prototypes and remakes, another 10-30 in variations. Then almost 3/4 again as loose duplicates. And another 50+ laying around. I'm getting ready to re-release the cart rarity guide with a few more found carts.
