Tempest

Yes, it would run without problems (mind you, didn't test it).

Atari started developing GTIA-only (and/or XL/XE-only) titles only after the Tramiel buyout. Of these, the only cases of usage of GTIA modes that come to my mind right now, are the intro sequences in Ballblazer and RoF.

Something's confusing here - the 5200 version has LESS detailed enemies, yet this is deemed the superior version? The 5200 version looks like it has the same sprites as the 2600 version.

Yes the sprites have less detail but everything else much better. It plays so much better. Still, I suppose it's up to debate.

5200 version of dig dug plays way better. What is crazy is I remembered playing the conversion of it to the computers but years later I could not find it and thought I imagined it. Only to find out it was a 5200 conversion. I don't remember seeing any Glenn the 5200 man messages.
