daafies Posted July 5, 2015 Share Posted July 5, 2015 hi all, i had/have an issue with my 5200 where after 10-15 mins the screen will start flickering and eventually goes blank. i figured it might be a voltage regulator overheating. so i opened it up and am now the problem does not occur. probably cause it runs cooler without the case. i did notice tho that resistors r57 and r58 run really hot at ~130F. also Q6 at 125F. are these values normal? thanks david Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
atari-dna Posted September 9, 2015 Share Posted September 9, 2015 Q6 certainly sounds warm from your description, Q7 is too I would imagine. Are your resistors at R57, 58 Metal Oxide 330 Ω ?
