Redemption controller adapter

Any chance of Someine bringing back the Redemption controller adapter , it looked like all the problems for the 5200 controller are solved.

it is not a cure all most problems stem from the lack of a working start button and fire buttons

 

atari 2600 sticks do not have 2 firebuttons

 

they also do not allow one to play superbreakout,kaboom,gorf,missilecommand,starwars

Redemption adapters were available for Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Sega Genesis, and PC Controllers. I believe Albert cited the problem with acquiring decent Atari 5200 controller cables that were deep seated like Atari's originals as the reason why they quit making all of the Redemption adapters.

For the record, Bohoki does make PC Controller adapters for the 5200.

yes i mostly use a pc adapter along with a gravis pc gamepad

 

sometimes i use this

 

but i moded the stick by disconecting the top firebutton and turning it into the secondary with the little 1/8 earphone plug
