I mean what are the "likes" for? Do you win a prize at some point? I never understood the whole concept of "likes" and "followers".

Oh I gotcha sorry for the confusion. It's a reputation rating. Neutral I remember is the lowest at 0-9, Good from 10-29, Excellent 30 onwards. It is kind of odd since it doesn't have a requirement of a certain amount on the site. I actually see it as a gimmick. And for followers it just notifies you. When they post a status update or if someone interests you so you don't have to search for them. I agree on both parts. Try to make it fb oriented.
