Very good episode.  Really enjoyed seeing some more good looking PD games on the Amiga.  Also, it was great to see Boat get his foot stuck in his mouth again by saying the Bitmap Brothers were the most overrated on the Amiga.  This gem was followed up from the previous one he left for us a few weeks ago when he said that the Amiga 500 should be left on a deserted island never to return.  That stuff has to go on the end of the year review for sure.

He does come out with some wacky lines. Doesn't know what he is saying half the time :)

Boat and Aaron have their co-drivers ready for a bumpy trip across the world as they take part in Rally Championships on the Commodore Amiga. Do they reach the finishing line or will they crash out on a tricky chicane?
This is just a fancy way to introduce their review of the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puJ6iK-hikA&t=23s
Is this game unique on the Amiga? There weren't many rally games on the system and no others quite like this.

Another very good episode.  However, it is yet another game in a ever growing list of games that are seemingly decent, but could have been a lot better with some further refinements.  But, considering the time period this came out in, perhaps they (along with many others) were just trying to get the title out the door and distributed before the Amiga ship totally sunk.

I hate to say it but I think you are right. There seem to be very few games that I would consider to be top tier. Most seem to live in that ok but flawed region.

Is it a Frog? Is it a Pig? Who knows, who cares! It has a cool sub and likes to climb towers.
What did Boat and Aaron think of Nebulus? Find out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=us_WmQmod8U&t=41s
There is also the usual look at some of the week's Amiga News.
The Amigos band gets back together for this weeks supporter song, can you guess the tune?

Amiga users were smoking the chronic back in the day making this game so highly rated.  Sure, it is a good puzzler, but it is not great shakes to me.

Did the Carmen Sandiego series register outside of the US in the 80s? I have heard more about her in the past couple of years than I ever remember from back then.Back to Edutainment software on the Amiga and this time we go time hopping with Where In Time is Carmen Sandiego?

One of the greatest Edutainment titles of all-time imo.  Carmen Sandiego is an institution and I think it something that kids could get into even today.

Another week, another gem delivered by Boat saying the graphics this game is producing could be on a C64.  OMG!  I find this so funny considering how much he has dogged the C64 and yet, in essence, gives it extreme praise in this episode while, in some way, dogging the Amiga graphics.  Man, it is too funny.  And then, Aaron's reactions along the way were stone cold classic.  This has to go either in the upcoming 300th episode or definitely in the end of the year channel review for sure.  Oh, right, the game.  It seemed cool and worth checking out.  The throat slitting animation and graphics were pretty nifty imo.

There's no hiding it, Boat and Aaron are not fans of Action Fighter on the Commodore Amiga.
Get their full reaction here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHJgxfUnFTM

The best part of the game seems to be the flying section, shame its such a struggle to get there.

Yep, the game looks like a big stinker.  But, then again, every system has them.  Still, looking forward to episode 300 very soon.

As big episode 300 rolls around the Amigos take a look back at some of their high and low points over the past few years of Amiga action. Join them for 2 hours of fun including an Amiga quiz, giveaways and a tour of their home town.

Congratulations on reaching #300.  I, personally, stumbled upon you guys looking for thoughts/comments on the PC Classic that was supposed to be released in 2018 (?) but turned out to be vaporware.  From there, I delved into the realm of personal computer history and your channel was a big insight into the undiscovered world (at least for me) of Amiga.  Definitely I wish you guys the very best going forward and I look forward to many more episodes yet to come.

It's time to check out Switchblade on the Amiga! The game certainly launched with a good reception but how does it hold out today?

There is also a bumper load of Amiga news including the launch of AmigaOS 3.2!

What do you think of the new OS? Which features are the most worthwhile and more importantly, will you be upgrading? Let us know in the YouTube comments.

Another very good episode.  Definitely the game looked like it had potential, but appears to be a stinker of a game.  Damn shame, but not that we (the audience) and/or the fellas haven't seen this situation before.

One of the most well known Sim games was of course available on the Amiga. How did it stack up against other versions?

Full review found here:

We also take a look at the latest update on an Amiga laptop project and of course AmigaOS 3.2 gets a look in too.

Good show as always.  Keep up the great work fellas!

Free is free is free.  The game looked pretty good and seemed to be fairly solid.  Also, regarding the helicopter question, definitely I am more of a 'Blue Thunder' guy as the movie is a hidden 80s gem imo.  Now, series wise 'Blue Thunder' was good.  However, 'Airwolf' was the better of the two.  Still, I would recommend checking out the 13 or 'Blue Thunder' episodes.  They are quite solid imo.

Haven't seen the Blue Thunder series but the movie is shown fairly often on what was the Sony channel in the UK.
