Astro Fighter is one of the first arcade games I played way back when. Pure awesomness.

Too bad i'm not at the event trying out Astro Fighter. I always been a fan shooter fanboy and this appears to be a good additional to the Atari 7800 game library.

Absolutely, it looks like there's a whole host of great stuff out there to try out. Hoping to catch a little Ms. Pac-Man Twin and T:Me Salvo captures - unless I missed them.

:ponder:

Both those games should really attract some interest and exciting gaming, along with the other fantastic 7800 homebrews like Crystal Quest, Donkey Kong XM, Froggie, Draker's Quest, and Dungeon Stalker. :)

Dungeon Stalker and T:Me Salvo would be *extra* sweet if the AtariVox is hooked up to them. :-D

They best be, I soldered a bunch of the surface mount microcontrollers onto them. I think Al built at least 3 Vox units for the show.

Yep,, and thank you very much for that. :)

I have AtariVox+ units hooked up to both T:ME Salvo and Dungeon Stalker. I also made a copy of Man Goes Down since I had so much fun testing my solution for mixing the AtariVox audio with the 2600 audio so everything would come out of the display's speakers.

Here's T:ME Salvo in action, from @AtariTexas' twitter feed.

What was your solution ?

This magic box:

Takes two RCA inputs and outputs a single, mono audio signal. For the output, I used a 1/4" to RCA patch cord plugged directly into the audio input on the back of the Commodore 1702.
