Ok... I've come to the realization that...

I know, the price is kind of insane... but it looks like it needs nothing!

 

Still... it feels like it's $1,500 too much.

I'd say its at least $2300 too much.

I wouldn't go over $1000 for an Asteroids regardless of condition, and I love the game. The cab's all repro, and those machines are among the most common cabs ever. The monitor's burned to hell, and although I see he's revised the description, his "replacement control panel overlay under the original plexiglass" in the initial description made me chuckle. The original control panels were printed, not an overlay, and they certainly weren't covered in plexi.

 

In short, it's a nice looking machine that I'm sure a Mr. Moneybags will be proud to add to his mancave as a conversation/brag piece, but as a collector that thing's worth about $900, tops.
