This would be pretty cool.. just to take one of them and turn it into a MAME arcade for racing games... would be pretty sweet.

Pretty cool, I'd be looking to clean the cabinets up and do a restoration/partial restoration rather than use it for parts. Alas I live 3000 miles away from these in an apartment.

There really isn't a "cabinet," but a large rear-projection pushed up against the front of the machine with a topper.

 

You would do MUCH better (and cheaper) to just buy an inexpensive 55" LED TV for $400 bucks, rather than trying to find yourself a huge rear-projection TV like that.
