Philflound
So are you keeping the list in the 1st post?
high voltage
s/n 549274883 My 4 switcher PAL version. Seller claims it was purchased in 84ish packed in a Darth Vader box. Since he said he never owned a Vader, it's feasible. Edited August 30, 2015 by high voltage

Philflound
Cool, I'll see what I own. My personal one, if I have a 4-switch, would be in my closet I can't get to, but I know I have 2 others I haven't tested and will be selling. May be 3 others. I'll get pics up by tomorrow I hope. high voltage
That's cool, now when we get new consoles, we can quickly double-check. Wonder if I get 5 4-switch consoles like I have JRs. Shame the JR list is not kept up anymore. Edited August 30, 2015 by high voltage
spawnshop
I grabbed an un-working 4-switch woody for a mod - here's some images after an LED install. It just needed some cleaning on the switches and an AV cable replacement, and it works great. Just waiting for the new A/V and Pause kits to come in!! S/N: 81134671 It's funny though, all of the earlier posts say that the 4-switch woody's are REV-14 and up, but mine is a REV-12. Any significance there?? Here are some images of the casing:

RyboFlavin
Several weeks ago I got the bug to restore my old 4 switchers and found this thread while searching for various info and I thought I would post my serial numbers. I've had both of these units since they were purchased new in the early 1980's. One of them was still in playable working condition, but the other one stopped working in the mid 1980's and had been sitting in a box ever since then. Serial: 568176918 Rev 14 board This unit stopped working (black screen only) in the mid 1980's and was in storage ever since. I installed a refresh kit from console5.com and an eBay replacement Via chip and it is working once again. It already had the 820 Ohm resistor on the bottom of the board. Serial: 811823009 Rev 14 board There is a date of April 7, 1982 printed on the RF shield paperwork. This has been playable in my possession since new and was never opened until I took these photos. There is no 820 Ohm resistor on the bottom of the board. In comparison to the other unit, I notice that there are resistors in the same location as there were ceramic capacitors. For example, near the controller ports. It's interesting that this unit appears to be newer than the other unit and has a higher serial number, but it didn't have the 820 Ohm resistor installed. BIGHMW
Now, how about a sub-thread (one within this thread) regarding those 4-switch woodys with yellow lettering vs. orange lettering?
