How to pass level 5:

 

I’ve been thinking about how to answer this.

 

First of all, I can’t resist trying to get the 1up, so I try it nearly every time. And nearly every time I land on the triangle and die, losing the 1up I just got.

 

To clear the level, the secret is to “chill out” and just focus on making the jumps to climb the platforms after the 1up. It seems that if I’m trying too hard to avoid the other balls, i screw up and hit one of them anyway - or miss the platforms.

 

Not that you need any help with any video game.....but that’s how I do it.

Ooh, this month is Bouncy's Obstacle Course? Awesome.

 

Here's my current high score, played on real iron (using a modded Genesis controller) from a recent stream: 34178

Will try to beat that, though, since it's such a fun game.

Indeed!  I'm afraid I would have missed the June game was Bouncy's Obstacle Course (which I pretty hugely adore) myself, had I not stumbled in here with an arbitrary click.  Let's get it updated!

It seems Bouncy is slower on the TI-99/4A with Mechatronic 80 Column Card, compared to F18A Card. (Both TIs are USA Consoles/5 DIN plug).

Rasmus - it looks like the "Lives" counter is not correct, when playing and I still have Lives:01 then the game ends.
