Spot Shot (= DragonFly) on the RetroPie

(as the .bin need to be converted for the RetroPie and TI-99/Sim) and for the persons who want to play on this device:

http://www.globeron.com/freedownload/services/TI99/TI-99-Sim-Installation-on-RaspberryPI2ModelB-RetroPieV381-DocV2.pdf

Convert:

To convert the file (via Secure Shell and in Super User mode on the command line):

cd /home/pi/ti99sim-0.14.0/bin

convert-ctg --379 /home/pi/temp/dragonflyer.bin

(you can get the dragonflyer.bin from FTP Whtech, see a few postings before)

cp dragonflyer.ctg /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/ti99sim/

Now it will appear in the RetroPie TI-99/4A selection menu and will load correctly in TI-99/Sim.

Not much time left and I'm really feeling the Zero Zap might make an appearance so get busy and prevent that travesty from making an appearance.

As an aside, what the hell happened to Owen? This is his thread and he is MIA?

Bhueller...Bhueller... where ya at Chad?

I was thinking that with the appearance of the "official" Tutankham that someone would have to choose that as the next game. I am already practicing :)

I haven't seen Owen around in ages :/ hope he's doing ok

I had a nice chat with him on Facebook a couple of days ago. Everything is fine with him except that his TI systems went south and his efforts to recover have not been very successful. He's a little down in the dumps over that since sometime in April, I guess. I'm sure he'll be back on here ere long.

I am certain we have enough parts and what-not lying around that we could help out if he needs. Just say the word.

Hey guys!! Some incredible scores posted here the past couple of months.

Life has been crazy out here in the boondocks... I am slowly getting back to status quo. Glad to see you all remaining enthusiastic about gaming. :)

I have seen a video of Marc's new game and WOW......

I have some stuff to catch up on. :)

Who is the winner this week?

I am excited to play a game. :)

The man's a gamer...

I hope he selects Mad Marvin as the new game. I am not good at it, but it is a masterpiece and I enjoy the game immensely.

Jumpin' Jiminy! I really wanted to play last month's game but I seriously lacked the time. I love Barrage and I think a CorComp RS-232 would be pretty darned handy. Ugh! Maybe July will give me some spare time. (I will be visiting the grandson next weekend and watching him while his mom is working... maybe I can squeeze in a game or two while he naps :))
