I just watched this video, quite funny but nothing to write home about.

But at the end they talking about a piece of hardware I never heard about. The Jaguar Jugebox which "Allow you to have 6 games cardriges connected to yoru jaguar at the same time'.

Ever heard of it ? Do you have info ? Pictures ?

That video SUCKED. Which makes me wonder why Atari didn't fund it lol.

Would definitely like to know more about that Jukebox though. Can't imagine how it would look plugged in with 6 carts inserted, if the idea I have is even remotely close that is.

Or, a separate unit to the side of the Jag base with a ribbon cable of some sort that has a cart adapter/plug on the end. I don't know if that vision would be close to a real "jukebox" but I have no idea how literal to take the name either. Interesting.

I remember the first time watching this and mean no disrespect or offense to their efforts because personally, it's something I don't think I could do, but it's pretty much a feeling equatable to seeing someone get hit by a Japanese train lol... just a bad feeling, ya know?

The Jukebox was apparently made for the Genesis and planned for the Jaguar. Can't imagine why it never made it to market. ;-) I remember trying to track down info for it but got nowehere with locating the company or people behind it. It reminded me of the Atari 2600 multi-cart selector box without the fancy name and casing.

The Genesis version never came out either. However, there was a similar device used in retail outlets to switch among 6 games, the DS-16. I've seen these pop up from time to time, info available here: http://segaretro.org/Demo_System_DS-16

No surprise I guess... but that seems like a ridiculous waste of money for advertising.

Considering it was 1994, the video was pretty good. Would have been cool if it would have gone into production.

I wonder that if in true Jaguar fume inhaler form people will theorize how Jammer could've been the biggest video game show to ever exist and will come up with conspiracy theories about how Sony paid to have the production canceled. Unharnessed video game TV show powah!
