I don't know what my 17/80 800 came with though, so I can't answer. If you read through this whole thread you might find such details which did not go into the summary list. The 48k machine I originaly bought in early 1983 also had tabs (plus all cased ram), not sure when they changed that or if my machine had been in the shop for a long time - they'd started heavily discounting them at that point, in preparation for the XL launch.
