IainGrimm #2 Posted September 1, 2015 Very cool and very clever, this could be used effectively on smart phones and tablets. Not sure I would want to use it on my proper machine though.
Justin Payne #3 Posted September 1, 2015 Impressive. I seems he must be doing something similar to a lightpen. I'd like to see him do this for a 68000 machine since the OSs where generally GUI and more supportive of this way of interation.
José Pereira #4 Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) Humm... this one I just discouvered because of my ocasionilly visits onto the 'dark side' : www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=57713 Edited September 1, 2015 by José Pereira
kenjennings #5 Posted September 1, 2015 From the posts on that site: ...you can navigate with the cursor keys / return key or the joystick / fire button (port 2 only, port one interferes with the cursor keys and I couldn't figure a way to tell them apart). In the non-touch mode a familiar logo comes up so you can see what icon you are currently selecting. The touch screen is off-the-shelf parts from Digi-key. 3M single touch, capacitive with a serial interface module. So, yes, the touch screen comes in the user port. It's only running at 1200 baud right now!
snicklin #6 Posted September 2, 2015 Might be completely wrong, but at 2m 28s to 2m 43s, can I hear the Yoomp! title screen in the background?
Joey Z #7 Posted September 2, 2015 Might be completely wrong, but at 2m 28s to 2m 43s, can I hear the Yoomp! title screen in the background? probably, this looks (and sounds) like it was taken at VCF MW, and there's a lot more going on there than just the ECCC (commodore) stuff

576XE #12 Posted September 9, 2015 Hi there Jose. Here is link to LCARS site http://www.lcarscom.net/ If you inspect it you'll find that all things there are available for Atari from Colors to Sounds. And it's funny and more interested then MS Metro interface.
