gamegalaxy
MAN - I've done EVERY fix in the book - My PS4 is constantly beeping and ejecting disks and it all has to do with that stupid touch sensitive button - I've removed the rubber foot, elevated it, tightened the manual eject screw, gave it a hand job and all - I have no choice but to send it in to warranty - It's stupid but I get attached to systems and things and I'm just sad I have to send the console away and it may be replaced with another one - Might be OCD- I'm sad - Anyone else have this issue? Or know of a magical fix other than what I said?
cimerians
Never heard of this but here's something: Press and hold the power button until you hear two beeps.Wait about 30 seconds for all system lights to shut off. When all system lights are off, unplug the AC power cable and wait for three full minutes. Then plug the system in, power it on and see if it operates normally. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yU2Z6alUAcI

cimerians
Got it going? If you bought it recently they should be able to just replace it for you if you ship it in....even though its a bit of a hassle.

Since doing that the problem never returned. That was probably around 5 or 6 months ago now. I do have a 2nd system that I use may behalf the time, but I must have put in a good 200+ hours since on that one. Prior to that I'd attempted the fiddling-with-the-internal-screw trick several times, I don't think that was ever the issue with mine, it was only a matter of time until it happened again and I rinsed and repeated.
