+freewheel #251 Posted October 12, 2015 There one variant on two LTO style carts with a different ROM. Those are the Atari Age Booth version where CRAP games is replaced with BBWW Games to keep the booth demo completely kid friendly. Some might object to Crap. I made two of them incase, one walked away from the booth. Not that I don't trust you guys! Auction one off for charity. Seriously.
wolfy62 #252 Posted October 12, 2015 OMG EVEN MORE VALUABLE. I'm posting a pre-sale copy on Ebay right now. $800. There are fewer LTO variants than Blix, you guys all saw it. If they are valuable you would keep it, not sell it!
BBWW #253 Posted October 12, 2015 I've done stranger things. I helped Stumming for Vets get 10 guitars into veterens hands for music as therapy use. Some were sent to Afghanistan and others to VA centers around the country. If they are valuable you would keep it, not sell it!
wolfy62 #254 Posted October 12, 2015 Actually, I understand the auction off for charity part, it makes great sense! I just wasn't sure in what direction Freewheel was going as he had a post to auction the game for charity and then sell one on Ebay. Which is it? I love the auction for charity Idea! +freewheel #255 Posted October 13, 2015 If they are valuable you would keep it, not sell it! They're actually worthless until I sell them, so trust me when I say this: if someone was willing to pay me $800 for a videogame? I'd sell it in a heartbeat! No game is worth that much to me. Actually, I understand the auction off for charity part, it makes great sense! I just wasn't sure in what direction Freewheel was going as he had a post to auction the game for charity and then sell one on Ebay. Which is it? I was taking the piss, just like the majority of this thread. I don't actually have a copy, so I can't post it on Ebay. Nor do I think anyone is daft enough to pay $800 for this game (no offense to its creators). I do, however, think that auctioning off a one-off "demo" variant is a fantastic idea. Instead of lining some speculator's pockets, let's see that kind of dough go towards something positive.
BBWW #256 Posted October 13, 2015 Wolfy and Freewheel, I think you are on the same page. That is a great idea for the variant. If one or both come back to me I will consider it. I'll have to make a special label for it and that won't be until I'm back. LOL The Bacon Lollipops are delayed and won't be here until Wednesday. So I will be assembling the release when they come. I'll head north to Oregon about 3am Thursday Morning. First heading to Bend.
+freewheel #257 Posted October 13, 2015 I'm told there's a pretty nice retro arcade in Bend. Been meaning to check it out, just haven't been nearby recently.
+Lathe26 #258 Posted October 13, 2015 I don't know if there is any charity involved, but PRGE does have an auction on Saturday evening. Perhaps that would be a good place to auction one off?
BBWW #259 Posted October 13, 2015 As much as I would like to see some Intellivision stuff in the auction, Piggy Bank will not be one. In the end having a one off variant of this goes against the concept of why the team did this in the first place. I don't want to create a collector monster out of one or two carts. That is worse than 30 of Blix.
BBWW #260 Posted October 13, 2015 (edited) Piggy Bank baggie label, inside and outside. It is what it is, a home brew. LOL I see things I want to change but won't. Edited October 13, 2015 by BBWW

jeffgamer #262 Posted October 14, 2015 Will there be a way for those of us who can't make it to Portland to get a Piggy Bank cart? I'm with gunoz. I can't make it but am really hoping this will also be sold online to those of us who'd like to get a copy. :-)
