It's a surprisingly attractive game. I'm TERRIBLE at it, but I blame that on the pressure of the crowd watching. I hope it gets a wide enough release that everyone gets a chance to try it. It's actually a debug build from waaaaaaaaaaay back that I put on there. Whoops! I didn't think anyone would actually notice, let alone care, so I forgot to mention it. Let this be a lesson for all aspiring developers and such out there - you can never test enough times. And never, ever make assumptions. On that note (and on topic) PB was obviously much better tested before being loaded to cart. I didn't make it past the first level, but what I saw looked very nice. A solid addition to the much neglected all-new homebrew scene. I hope (and believe) that this game will be available to anyone who wants it, in some fashion, eventually. And I don't think it'll be YEARS this time either. The people putting it together did it for the fans. My problem is that much like how i still like to act like I'm 15-20 when it comes to videogames, my brain sometimes forgets just how old I actually am. I was really having to make an effort to avoid falling into old habits and turning that into a VERY awkward situation. Especially given statutory rape laws in the US. I'm sure they were "legal in Canada" but that doesn't quite cut it here. Flirting back would have been suuuuuuuuch a bad idea.
