BBWW #157 Posted October 5, 2015 No time for a Tar and Feather Level. LOL I glad we hit all the forum highlights. Sorry to miss the My Little Pony Level...maybe next time. Put that in your game as a finishing point!

DZ-Jay #159 Posted October 6, 2015 I have found no bugs. I'm sure there is an Easter Egg. The typical "people familiar with the matter" claim that the game is absolutely solid; that the bugs, if any, are very minor and just require a bit of spit and polish; and that the level difficulty ramp seems spot on. Game of the Year? Considering that it is a truly original game (and that it was built in a few short weeks), its level of polish and quality is positively comparable to many other recent releases. Or so I've heard... Those pesky "people familiar with the matter" also say that it is a heck of a lot of fun! So there's that too. I would vote for it! -dZ.

wolfy62 #161 Posted October 6, 2015 As great as this game may be, all respect to BBWW my vote has been sealed already! Very much great stuff this year, great work by everyone!

We moved some of the levels around putting some less debilitating levels early. LOL One of the great things is that Piggy Bank has lots of inside jokes for all of us in the Forum. I think this is a first for a gaming release. It was fully inspired by this forum and it's wacky contributors. It is unique in many ways, I think it is fun, has a lot of polish and will surprise people because of the short development time. The crew of testers have done a great job. The music works well and the sound effects are perfect. The feature set includes being able to turn off the music and sound effects if you want. I love that feature. This game is worthy of a CIB release but we are sticking to the point of making something good and affordable in the market. All will be Numbered 1 of 30. It is game number 1 released by Blah Blah Woof Woof Music and Media and I promise we will release no more than 30 games. LOL Game of the Year? It would be an honor to be nominated. If the the fun that was put into getting this game done comes through the screen it is a winner.
BBWW #163 Posted October 6, 2015 Location coming up soon. The police have said they will be looking for a pig in a trench coat so I'm changing plans. Do we have an announced location for sales at PRGE yet?

+freewheel #166 Posted October 6, 2015 By the way, anyone who can't make it to PRGE - never fear. I'll have copies up on Ebay for a BIN price of only $500 next month. Cheaper than Blix - and it's actually a much better game, by all accounts. So really I'd be taking a loss on it. No need for applause. Just doing my part to look out for the community. (waits to see if anyone takes him seriously)

BBWW #169 Posted October 6, 2015 Yeah buddy move over, this is my scam!!! I may have a copy I'll trade towards League of Light or Robot Rubble...or BLIX. Kiwi #170 Posted October 6, 2015 I'm really curious about this game now. I want to see the game playing . It having music is a good reason to buy this game because I LOVE good BGM. I had some ideas what this game could be like. Maybe a farmer who toss coin from the top of the screen to hope that the pig would run into it and collect the coin. You could chose a penny, nickle, dime, and a quarter. If you run out of money before the pig explode into bacon bits, you lose. Oh course, snow level need to be added to have the wind effect the course of the coin. It could have a 2 player mode, where the 1st player farmer on top drops the coin and the 2nd player tries to avoid the coin.Hmm...

I think people will be surprised at the familiar yet sophisticated game-play of Piggy Bank. It is indeed a rather simple game (due mostly to its compressed development time), but it has plenty of variation to keep it interesting and add replay value. Plus it's a heck of a lot of fun. ...or so I've heard from "people familiar with the matter."

DZ-Jay #173 Posted October 6, 2015 Always you can send it to the IntyBASIC contest That's a possibility... But... What if it wasn't written in IntyBASIC? OMG! A game written in two weeks in pure Assembly Language??? How is that even possible?

It could be if he was drinking coffee, Red Bull, and Monster the whole time programming 2 weeks straight. Hmm...
