ps3 slim doens't read discs

my ps3 slim doesn't read discs, not even when the discs aren't scratched. it doesn't even say "loading" when i put a disc in. i've tried 2 games and neither of them worked. i bought the ps3 system used from gamestop.

Most likely your laser lens is worn out or needs to be cleaned. Word of advice. Never buy a used system from Game Stop.
