Commodore C128D - Floppy drive issue

Hello!

So I pulled out a C128D (a PAL C128D, not a C128D CR) from storage. There was issues with it, that I narrowed down to one cause (tho I didn't checked the Datasette imput or the cart slot as I have neither of those).

I had glitches, the C128 mode locked, and the C64 mode glitching at keyboard input.

I went and checked all connections, reseated all possible chips, and there we go.

Except for one thing : the included floppy drive. The light goes on, the motor spin endlessly. After looking up I learned that in C128 mode, if the drive is on, the computer try to load from the drive. If I pull the power plug from the drive, the C128 mode goes READY and I can type in, so on that side, I'm clear :D

I checked out on the 1571 drive and it seems that my problem would be caused by various IC failures.

Is there maybe other reasons, or a way to replace the drive? Alternative solutions maybe?
