Guys,

I've noticed there's some dispute going on eBay Auction -- Item Number: 2818152228691?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=281815222869&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER] - Moon Patrol TRON cart, A Misterious Chief CCE and "Cathouse Blues".

Well, you probably know this Cathouse Blues doesn't exist. This seller has been offering porn REPROS in Brazil, and flooding the market with them, however, he doesn't state so... it's not mentioned anywhere in the ad that this is repro.

This guy is a compulsive liar and has a bad rep here. Be warned for future auctions.

Just a heads up.

Not saying by any means you are wrong....but seeing that his t handle and CCE games look real, do you think it's possible the cathouse Blues cart is a Brazilian pirate cart? I mean many pirate Brazilian companies put out bootlegs of the adult games....I didn't know if this could be 1? I haven't really seen what those originals look like....

Stupus, that is the catch, actually. He is implying that, but Cathouse it's NOT a Brazilian pirate.... it's a brand new printed label, trust me on this. We have a local forum and this guy has a bad rep. The bidder on this auction is probably being fooled, unfortunately.

Thanks for the info Tom....I would be curious to see what some of those real adult game Brazilian bootlegs do look like. I know alot exist....but I never see them come up.

Yeah Phil happiest may have won it....but that only means now he will be out to resell them for 3 times the price to dupe the next guy even worse hehe :P

Well, stupus, I believe there are several adult carts in my collection, you can check some here, even if it's outdated: http://www.magicwebdesign.com.br/auctions/?=wbC7EmvhO7IACTACT

There's also a lousy picture here of Dynacom X-Man, it's in my collection now, but the picture it's not mine. Dynacom carts have amazing art:

Just check out the seller's previous Music Machines and his Red Sea Crossing. All fakes.

The Mystique single enders are tough to parse, but they are 99.999% likely to be fake in this setting.

And real Brazilian pirates never try so hard to look real. They ARE real in their own special way, and usually have the mark of a known manufacturer or video store.

Reminds me of a fun write up from some years ago...

How to be a Brazilian 2600 cart seller

The turn of the Millennium brought an influx of Brazilian games to us, courtesy of Ebay. Hundreds of amazing new 2600 variations have surfaced, along with a whole new type of marketplace. The following observations were made by Ken Dolan. Here are his guidelines on how to be a Brazilian Atari cart seller:

1) Never, ever, ever list carts individually! Always in groups of two, three, or (rarely) four.

2) Remember to take a penknife to the label to expose those screw holes!

3) Is your CCE or Polyvox game boxed? Bahh! Throw away the box! Who needs them?

4) See that pile of dirt outside your house? You MUST roll the cart around in it! Carts rolled in the dirt only twice shall be listed as "in good conditions", and carts rolled in the dirt more than twice shall be known as "in no good conditions".

5) Remember....at least 50% of Brazilian carts sold MUST have peeled off end labels! This is an important quota to meet!

6) Another important quota....75% of all labels MUST have more than 5 scratches on it, and each scratch MUST be at least one inch long! If the colors on the label are faded, you may substitute the color fading for three scratches.

7) Make sure that you let people know how many games the bidder is getting in total! For instance, say you have 3 carts: one 4-in-1 multi-cart, one 2-in-1 multi-cart, and one cart with just one game on it! That's 7 total games! Make sure that you let bidders know this in your auction in case they have trouble adding numbers!

8) And lastly....you say your cart doesn't have a label? No problem! Just make your own! It doesn't matter how cheesy the artwork or lettering looks! Remember, though, to make sure that the screw holes are exposed!
