icemanxp300 #1 Posted October 24, 2015 What price values would you put on the different 2600 systems? Make sure to note if it is a shipped price or not. Such as: heavy sixer 6 switch Woody 4 switch Woody Vader jr.
Nutsy Doodleheimer #2 Posted October 24, 2015 This is what I would consider to be the market or street price for the following Atari Systems. This is just for a bare bones system without hookups, controllers, and games. And shippung not included. Heavy Sixer: $60 Light Sixer: $35 4 Switch Woody: $20 Darth Vader: $25 Junior: $

I didn't expect a heavy sixer to be so high. I did however think a vader would be more.
Nutsy Doodleheimer #4 Posted October 24, 2015 Heavy Sixers were only made for a year from 1977-1978 and about 250,000 were produced. Vaders were 1982-1984 and made a few million of them. The Heavies are more of the grail in terms of the 2600.
BassGuitari #5 Posted October 24, 2015 The Heavies are more of the grail in terms of the 2600. "Grail" is a stretch, but yeah, they're a little more uncommon. They're not that hard to find though. (When I think "Grail" 2600 systems, I think of the Kee system or, discounting prototypes, the Columbia Home Arcade or Bit 60. )
icemanxp300 #6 Posted October 24, 2015 Basically I have 3 systems to sell which Is why I posted in marketplace. Just trying to gauge how I want to sell them. One will be with 40 ish games the next will have 15 ish games and the last maybe 10 games. I also have an organizer to group w/one of the systems. I am thinking probably with the system w/the least amount of games. I am iun the process of cleaning them up and making sure I get fully functional controllers and such. byonddrivn #7 Posted October 24, 2015 I'm curious and this has probably been addressed but is there a quality difference between the 5 of them, video, audio, & durability-wise? Is there one more desirable based on anything other than rarity?

Is there one more desirable based on anything other than rarity? The six switch models (Heavy and Light Sixers) have the best color palette and video quality in my honest opinion. You can do it with a 4 switch model on a simple mod. The Juniors are made cheaply in my honest opinion and I don't like the plastic buttons to use when turning the system on or off and selecting a game. Chrome switches define an Atari in my honest opinion.

icemanxp300 #10 Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) Cool, sell me 10 of them please. Yeah me too. Looks like they sell for about $150. Too bad I don't have one to sell. I have a light sixer, a 4 switch, and a vader to sell. Edited October 25, 2015 by icemanxp300

icemanxp300 #12 Posted October 25, 2015 Is the light 6 a Sears model, by any chance? Sorry I don't think it is. It doesn't say sears on it, no telegames.

Do they really go that high? I really don't follow prices on stuff I don't need and I have 3-4 in storage that I know of. Might be time to hunt them down. +save2600 #14 Posted October 25, 2015 Last H6'r I bought was from a member that lived semi-locally here. Sketchy kind of deal… met behind a Qwik Trip and was fitty bux IIRC.
