Prosystemsearch
Elite would have been GREAT. So would have "Make your own murder party", Ballblazer, Missile defense, California Games, Lancaster(actually was slated to be compatible for mockingboard support, but never got it completed al the way), Maniac Mansion, and Thexder. Such a shame that there were not at least a few more mockingboard-supporting games...

JamesD
While I think we would all love to see more games use the Mockingboard, it was pretty expensive for the time and I doubt there was a very large % of Apple users that had them. The Usotsuki
At least emulating such a config is easy. xD
MarkO
With a few, "original" Mocking Boards around, and Clones from Reactive Micro, Korea and Bulgaria there should be more interest and maybe some New Games will be developed... Bill Loguidice
Yeah, the high price of the Mockingboard was a clear barrier to support. Still, having a few dozen titles supported is better than nothing. As was mentioned, at least these days we have relatively inexpensive reproductions, so it's fairly easy to have one (or two) with a speech chip.
Great Hierophant
Still, the number of titles with known Mockingboard support, 45 distinct pieces of software, for the Apple II is a drop in a bucket. Support for the Mockingboard is kind of a chicken and egg situation, but the Apple II was beginning to look a little long in the tooth by the time it got a toehold in the market. Games that should have had support include all the Sierra quest games, Prince of Persia, Conan: Hall of Volta, both Alternate Reality games. All have strong musical qualities that were lacking on the Apple II.
Prosystemsearch
Yup. Shame. Maniac mansion would have totally rocked sound-wise with support for the Mockingboard, as well as Elite and Prince of Persia. Would have also been great to see mockingboard supporting versions of apple ii rampage, Robot Odyssey, Apple Tetris, Batman The Caped crusader, Flight Simulator 2, Q*bert, Space Shuttle: a Journey into space, Ms. Pacman, Magic candle for 8-bit Apple ii, Battlezone, and Ghostbusters.
