Cybergoth #1 Posted April 14, 2003 Hi there! I'm just wondering which is your favourite amongst the three: Super Star Wars Super Empire Strikes Back Super Return of the Jedi Greetings, Manuel
NE146 #2 Posted April 14, 2003 I enjoyed Super Star Wars The rest kind of lost my interest...
Bratwurst #3 Posted April 14, 2003 Super Empire Strikes Back for me. My favorite movie of the trio, so that probably has something to do with it.
MegaManFan #4 Posted April 14, 2003 I don't have Super Return yet, but of the ones I own Empire seems to be the most fun. Nice side-scrolling Hoth action.
burke_01 #5 Posted April 14, 2003 I think Super Star Wars is the best as well. Not to mention the most difficult.
Nintendo Penguin #6 Posted April 14, 2003 Hmm.... well I am going to have to say I liked Super Return of the Jedi Best! (I do have all three)

z28in82 #8 Posted April 14, 2003 Super Star Wars - most difficult **Super Empire - Favorite, movie, game and best in general Super Jedi - cool graphics and the bosses
Krytol #9 Posted April 15, 2003 The only one I have is Super Star Wars and I find it frustratingly difficult in certain parts. Overall, it's pretty fun though.
King Atari #10 Posted April 15, 2003 I've played all three, and like Super Star Wars the best. Maybe it has something to do with the death star battle at the end.
Cybergoth #11 Posted April 15, 2003 Hi there! I've played all three, and like Super Star Wars the best. Maybe it has something to do with the death star battle at the end. I recently played it start to finish (thank god for the save state function of ZSNES ) and I'd say say the trench scene was the visually ugliest part of it. But I know what you mean, a Star Wars game ain't complete without destroying a Death Star I'm currently in the middle of SESB and I find it even more difficult than the first. Right now I'm especially clueless about the AT-ATs & AT-STs sequence. Maybe I'm missing something important, but they seem pretty undestroyable... Greetings, Manuel
Vic George 2K3 #12 Posted April 16, 2003 I'm not sure I really liked any of the Super Star Wars games, though the first one is the worst in the manner of challenge since it doesn't have a passcode reentry feature. I just personally don't think the run-and-jump platform style of gaming really works with the Star Wars movies.
Bratwurst #13 Posted April 16, 2003 In my opinion there hasn't been another game since the SNES Star Wars series to do the light sabers justice.. and I've played the PC games that have come out since then.

Ever tried Masters of Teras Kasi on PS1? It's really damn good.
z28in82 #15 Posted April 16, 2003 Ever tried Masters of Teras Kasi on PS1? It's really damn good. Tres cool fighting game, loved that one had everything unlocked that first weekend. AAHHH what a fun geeked out weekend that was Han Solo was whippin everyone's ass and the movie soundtracks were loaded in the 3 disk changer on constant repeat/shuffle. A star wars geek's dream come true. Especially Han Whippin Luke's whinney ass
Cybergoth #16 Posted April 16, 2003 Hi there! Ever tried Masters of Teras Kasi on PS1? It's really damn good. You are kidding, right? I haven't yet seen a review of MoTK with a rating over 50%. Here, even the videogamecritic (who is a Star Wars fanatic!) rates it "F": http://www.videogamecritic.net/psss.htm#St..._the_Teras_Kasi According to my sources it should be the worst Star Wars game ever, along with the Phantom Menace adventure and Rebellion... Greetings, Manuel
MegaManFan #17 Posted April 16, 2003 You are kidding, right? Not in the least. I enjoy it a lot. Greetings, Manuel If I had written the review, it would have been 85%. I loved the special moves of the characters (Han Solo's blaster firing off guided missiles was a trip), the animation seemed well done, and the music really got me in a Star Wars mood each time. I would happily and gladly recommend the game to any SW or fighting game genre fan, every time.
z28in82 #18 Posted April 16, 2003 I agree, a solid not spectuacular fighting game and one of the better Star Wars game to come along especially in the modern era. That and any game with a fighter named hoar has to be cool. I would lose matches just to hear hoar wins. yeah I'm shildish and I know it so sue me
+Cafeman #19 Posted April 16, 2003 I just bought all three SNES Star Wars titles last summer. Man, they all seem hard to me. Lately I've been playing Super Star Wars; trying to simply get to the top of the Jawa transport was driving me crazy, I kept falling off and had to start over. I've experienced similar frustration with the other 2 as well. But I'd say my favorite is TESB -- because it has got my favorite scenes in it.
joeybastard #20 Posted April 16, 2003 I like Empire the best but I like all 3 in general. They are hard as hell though.
Tempest #21 Posted April 16, 2003 I always thought the difficulty (from most difficult ot least) went ESB -> SW -> RotJ. My fav is probably Super Star Wars, but I can't say why. ESB was good, but the beginning Hoth levels were too damn hard. RotJ wasn't bad, but I hate the Falcon Superstructure chase at the end (too hard). z28in82 #22 Posted April 16, 2003 Thank you, apparently I'm not the only one who had a problem with the Death Star Exit at the end of SROTJ, I had beat the entire game except that final sequence. Still haven't to this day. I feel better knowing that I'm not the only one
Bratwurst #23 Posted April 16, 2003 MMF, I believe I've played a demo of that SW fighting game. My crusty, antiquitated opinion still stands! And indeed those SNES games were friggin hard, the fight with Darth Vader as the last boss in Empire Strikes Back was the best though. Really nice use of digitized voice. If you're gonna jonze for digitized voices, you really can't beat Teras Kasi. I'll swear it on a stack.
TheSmirk #25 Posted April 16, 2003 I think Super Star Wars is the best as well. Not to mention the most difficult. That game was EVIL, especially the jumping at the bottom level of the jawa's sandcrawlers........ARRRRRGGGGGHH!!
