CGQuarterly
Welcome to round 1 of the 2nd season of the AtariAge Turbo CD High Score Club! This season will be 10 rounds long, 2 weeks per round. Scoring follows the Formula One method (25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1). This season I am going to try to cut back on the shooters so that we can explore some of the other awesome games that the Turbo CD has to offer. This round we are playing Riot Zone, which is a Streets of Rage/Final Fight-style beat-em-up.This game is available on the virtual console for those without TurboDuos or Turbo CDs! This round ends on Sunday, November 15th.http://youtu.be/xF9sk5fet_kTitle: Riot ZoneDeveloper: Westone Bit EntertainmentPublisher: NEC/TTIReleased: February 1993Rules: No continues. StandingsNone! jblenkle
Trying to run this on Turbo Engine 16 and when I load it, I get a message saying: The File Cabinet is not initialized. Please reset and initialize the File Cabinet. Not sure what to do!!! Thanks
CGQuarterly
I don't know what Turbo Engine 16 is, but the complaint about the file cabinet means that you basically need to format your save memory. Edit: Start the system with no game so that you can go to the CD menu, and you should find an option to initialize the file cabinet somewhere. jblenkle
Turbo Engine 16 is the emulator I'm using. Can't find any mention of "file cabinets" in the menus, although it does have "save slots". Checking one of them doesn't seem to do any good. I've never had a problem playing CD images before with this emulator. Might have to sit this one out if I can't figure it out. You need to start the system without a CD game loaded into the virtual drive. If there is a way to start the emulator without loading a game, do that. If not, get a copy of the CD System 3.0 Card ROM, and load that. When the CD boot screen comes up, press whatever button you have mapped for "Select", and a special menu will come up. One of those things will have something to do with initializing the fie cabinet.

darthkur
204,150 For fun I decided to finish it using the continues, still using the Mohawk guy. So, at the end when I find the attractive lady she get up and rushes to me open armed to be closely followed buy a cut-scene with the friggen blonde haired guy, which I never utilized. So at the finale there's blondie with his arm around the damsel wile mohawk dude stands off to the side and behind with a big, jolly smile on his face. That's just wrong.
