BattleSphere eBay Question

Recommended Posts

I just saw that there is a copy of BattleSphere up for auction on eBay. No box or doc's, just loose cart. With 6 days to go, the price is already over $50.00

BattleSphere

I really want a copy of the game and have been watching for BSG to perhaps appear. But this might also be a good deal, but unsure as to how much this item should be bid for.

Any comments/suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Ideally, you would want to bid 1 cent more than the next highest bidder.

I'd just like to know what the heck he did with the box and instructions! It'll be interesting to see how much just a BattleSphere cartridge will go for.

Good for playing, bad for collecting.

Oh, and the one cent thing.

Hmm...that item is gone! I wonder if there was a little problem with the auction?  :ponder:

I think eBay is just having problems right now...I couldn't access my past auctions either.

It is kinda wierd that this seller has all these rare carts with no instruction manuals and boxes and all the carts have ugly tape on top of them.

Your wallet would be loving you more if you just broke out Star Raiders/Master for the 2600.

While you're at it, pop in some Public Enemy!

Don't believe the hype - booooyyyyy.

it seems these carts are rated review style, out of 10, and thats what is on the sticker (9 out of 10, 5 out of 10 etc.) displayed as 8.5/10 etc

So I take it no one has an opinion on what this particular cartridge might be worth? $50?? $75??

Being new to the Jag and not knowing what carts are worth, I was just looking for a little guidance so as to not make an outrageous bid.

Mendon, I don't want to give you bad hints... I tell how much I could pay for it: from US$75 to US$90. But, it's IMHO, and remember that that cart is worth what you think is worthing :)

Ok, it's an obvous hint....

Thanks T!

I shelled out $300 for BSG a few months back. It's at least mint, complete (box, manual, JUGS/key) and even included the overlay. Overpayed? Yes, but I'm glad that I own it. :)

What's the key? If it's the copyright-protection thing I was under the impression that it was part of the cart...no?

The 'key' looks like it plugs into the serial port of a PC. I'm not sure what to do with it. BSG came with JUGS, as well as Demo CD, maybe it's for the demo? Perhaps T-Bird can shed some light on the dongle.
