Help Playing Prof Pac-Man MAME

I got an MAME downloaded and the Prof Pac-Man rom. The game comes up and I see the title screen, demo, and high scores, but I can't figure out how to start and play the game. I tried all kinds of keys but can't get it to start. I've never played a game on an MAME before. Has anyone played this game on an MAME who can help me? I'm using the one for Windows MAME 0.167 Windows command-line binaries.

Press 5 to put in a quarter. Press 1 to start.

 

Press tab to see the menu where you can change settings and controls and stuff.

Thanks for the quick response! I clicked Tab and reset some keys to make the game a little easier for me and just played a round. It's so cool to be able to play this rare game right on my laptop. Thanks again!

You can also set up a usb gamepad in the controls.

You downloaded the Professor Pac-Man MAME ROM? Okay, here's the best way to play it:

 

1) Click on the file you downloaded.

2) If you're on a Mac, press cmd/delete; otherwise, press delete.

3) Empty the trash/recycle bin.

4) Securely reformat your hard drive to increase the chances that your old data are unrecoverable.

5) Reinstall everything.

6) Go to your preferred non-IE web browser and block the ROM from downloading.

7) Play something else. Or DO something else. ANYTHING.
