Scramble - 2600

Hello all,

I do believe in 'try before you buy'; the people who attended PRGE were able to play at the AA both (thanks Al for putting together such a wonderful display and thanks to everyone who was able to make it!). I will be releasing the full ROMs (NTSC and PAL60) prior to SC being available in the AA store, which I believe is sometime in late November.

Thanks again to everyone and I hope you all enjoy the game!

John

PS My next game (which is already in development) will *not* be a side-scroller stage shooter! :)

With as good as your previous game was, I will not need any "try before I buy" option. Thank you and I look forward to picking this up!

Scramble! Thank you for the excellent port of this great game!

Can this work on a Stella emulator?

Press the fire button to launch missiles and drop bombs (gamepads use button B to fire missiles and button C to drop bombs).

Two-button support with Genesis-compatible Gamepad.

Can this <gamepad> work on a Stella emulator?

  1. load the game
  2. hit TAB to bring up the in-game menu
  3. click on GAME PROPERTIES
  4. select CONTROLLER tab
  5. set P0 CONTROLLER to SEGA GENESIS
  6. click OK
  7. click EXIT MENU
  8. hit CONTROL-R to reload the game

Stella will remember this change, so you only need to do it once.

Just got my copy of this. All I can say is that I'm blown away at how gorgeous the whole package is. From the beautiful box art, to the manual, to the game itself. A perfect 10.

That's great to hear, I'm glad you're enjoying it! :) Dave Dries did an exceptional job on the manual, as well as Nathan and Mike with the graphics and sounds.

Once you've had a chance to play a bit, be sure to leave a review in the Atari Age store! :D
